3 Steps To Buying Laptop Notebooks...
When looking to buy laptops there a lot of factors to consider, ranging from weight, looks, battery time, RAM, size, harddrive, and a lot more. And it's easy to feel confused and overwhelmed. But let's just take it one step at a time. |
|
|
1) Decide what you want and need. What kind of computer do you really want? And I think the biggest question of all: What will you primarily be using the laptop for? This helps greatly in deciding which model, size, speed and so on that will suit you best.
If your biggest interest is taking pictures, sharing videos and doing graphic design then a MacBook of some sort is the obvious choice for you. On the other hand, if your basically just looking for decent laptop notebooks that give you the ability to surf the web, write in Miscrosoft Word and Facebook with friends, then pretty much anyone will do. The more you have specific niche hobbies such as design, music and gaming, the more you reserach you need to do.
2) Make a features list. Sort of like when your setting up a dating profile online, you need to be clear on what kind of features you're looking for in a future "mate". What color of laptop notebooks are you interested in? How big should the screen display be (12, 13, 15 inches or more?)
How much battery time do you want the laptop you're going to buy to have? Are you happy with the touch pad or do you want to get an external mouse as well for your laptop? Just go through and answer these questions one by one. Then bring your answers with you to the store, and you will have just cut the your shopping takes with about 90%.
3) Pay special attention to these three items: Battery time, RAM, and CPU. For obvious reasons you want a battery time of at least a couple of hours. Otherwise, what's the point of having a laptop? I recommed you spend a little extra to get as long battery time as possible.
RAM (random access memory) is also a big one to be concerned about. To simplify things, we can call this the "short term memory" of the computer. And if you know that you like to use several programs at once and often multitask, jumping from one application to another, then RAM is your best friend and you should get a lot of it.
Lastly, the CPU or central processing unit is also worthy of special attention. This is the "brain" of laptop. The CPU coordinates everything that gets your programs, movies, images and games to run smoothly.
So the faster CPU you can get – the better. Here you vote with your wallet. Keep within the budget that you can afford and enjoy.

Laptop Notebooks – Why The MacBook Rules...
Every computer designed by Apple is in and of itself a small piece of art. It has style, character and charisma. No other brands can compete with Apple when it comes to design, appearance and a top level user-friendly experience. Let's have closer look at the laptops Apple have to offer. |
|
The most basic model of laptop from Apple is the MacBook. It is least costly computer laptop that Apple makes. It's fantastic for anyone who wants a mobile computer that handles the basic assignments of writing, surfing the web basic application. And for the teenager or adult who want to impress their friends or co-workers with their sense of style! (Who hasn't heard a wow-factor from other Apple products such as the iPod or iPhone? It is basically a requirement for anything that they put out. It's both innovative and revolutionary.
One notch up from the MacBook is its older brother/sister the MacBook Pro. And now we're talking serious business, okay? You can't find laptops in better condition that this high performing, beautiful portable computer. Here you get all of your needs met at a high level. And you get the added benefits of having great abilities to do more with photos, videos, music, design and creative applications.
Next is the pinacle of thin laptop notebooks – the MacBook Air. This is the thinnest computer in the world, hands down. It's hardly bigger than the width of an envelop and yet has perfect useability and display size and resolution. Admittedly, it's not the most powerful computer form Apple, for executives who want to travel light, this is the answer to your dreams. For more information on this work of art I recommend you go watch the tutorial videos on MacBook Air on Apples website.
Those are Apples three laptops. But of course their lineup doesn't end there. You still have many more stationary options to choose from. Not to mention the many different models of iPods out there and, (who can forget?) the iPhone. A portable computer, mobile and music player – all in one. With more and more applications added each day specifically for the iPhone, this may be worth considering, in a sense, as the smallest of laptop notebooks on the planet. |
